6528 posts · Joined 2013. #2 · Jul 22, 2018. If you can afford to put cams in a 2018 CVO, I'd recommend you have the dealer do it. Usually I NEVER recommend dealer work, but Harley is very strict on modifications and void the warranty. If you do have it done at a dealer, get it in writing that your warranty is still good.
Re: Scared to buy a 2019 CVO Road Glide. I bought a 2019 CVO Ultra Limited in September and have put 4300 miles on it. I traded my 2008 GoldWing and a 2016 Ultra Limited in on it. The 2019 CVO handles, rides and performs much better than the 16 Ultra Limited and my wife likes the ride better than the GoldWing.

I have a 2016 CVO RG and the power locks on the bags and Tour Pak will not lock via the key fob or the console button, but WILL work (unlock) after I've locked the bags manually when trying to lock there is only a small clicking sound from somewhere under the tank/seat.
